Happy Friday!

And greetings from beautiful Hvar, Croatia. A country I honestly didn’t previously know a whole lot about, and have since fallen in love with.

Honestly. And if the pictures do it even a little bit of justice, no doubt you can understand why!

It’s true I am extremely fortunate to be travelling the world right now. That being said, travelling is not always sunshine and rainbows.

Sometimes travelling can be tough. And sometimes bad things can happen.

Last week, I had my backpack taken while on the the train from Budapest, Hungary to Split, Croatia. In the moment I went from complete panic to denial, anger, frustration, guilt… and I’ve played the ‘what if’ game way too many times. However I’m now in a very different place ~ dare I say I am actually at peace with it all. (But really, did you have to take my journal?!?)

In this week’s video, I share the story of having my backpack taken, as well as the 5 strategies I’ve used to be able to come to a place of peace.

As you likely know by now, I’m currently living out of a suitcase. Now although I’ve been ‘traveling’ in the sense of working remotely since January, this month I have ventured off on my own. Which means I have no home base, have not unpacked, and am in a new city (and a new bed!) every few days.

As exciting as that sounds – then again, maybe not! – I’m realizing I also need certain things to keep me grounded and anchored as each day looks different than the last.

So today, I want to share my three daily rituals, activities, non-negotiables. Adopt these practices and you, too, will stay anchored and grounded regardless of where you may be in the world, or what may be happening in your world.
